I mean to say, WHY is it some of us like Fish and some of us Like Marillion. Then again WHY does my son Michael think That MEATLOAF is the greatest singer the world has given us.... NOT. And WHY did FREDDIE committe slow suicide by "his erotic and erratic lifestyle which is common amongst rock stars", so that he died way before his time , along with many others. I watched Queen for the first time the other day with Paul Rogers, It wasn't half bad, but it also wasn't Freddie Mercury. Sad, now to get away from my little tirade and give you some questions to think about whilst you finished your email checking and settle down to watch the amazing picture show. Hugs, Diddily Dee Dot. xxx
Why.....do Tesco's make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.
Why.....do people order doublecheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.
Why.....do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.
Why......do we leave cars worththousands of pounds in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.
Why.....do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.
EVER WONDERED....
Why the sun lightens our hair, but darkens our skin ?
Why can't women put on mascara with their mouth closed?
Why don't you ever see the headline 'Psychic Wins Lottery'?
Why is 'abbreviated' such a long word?
Why is it that doctors call what theydo 'practice'?
Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavour, and dishwater liquid made with real lemons?
Why is the man who invests all yourmoney called a broker?
Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?
Why isn't there a mouse-flavoured cat food?
Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?
Why do they sterilize the needle forlethal injections?
You know that indestructible black box that is used on planes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?!
Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
Why If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal?
Why? Good question.
Let the show begin and a huge thank-you to all the YouTube girls and boys, both young and old and who without their wonderful uploads I would not be able to make a My Favourite Film and Music show.

THESE WONDERFUL WORDS COME FROM THE PEN OF NICK DRAKE.
He died at the tender age of 26 in 1974 and his grave has become a
meeting place for all the fans who love his music. His life was sad, he
was a depressive who lived a life of sadness and remorse, yet what he
had to feel remorseful like I don't know. These words about Nick were written by Frank Kornelussen who contributed to the booklet inside "The Time of No Reply"
He was the mystic of Riverman and the doubter of Hazy Jane II. He was the beggar of Place to Be and the outcast of Clothes of Sand. He was the dreamer of Northeren Sky and the nihilist of Parasite. He was the stranger in Chimes of the City Clock and the searcher of Cello Song. He was the lover in Hazy Jane I and the jilted in Which Will. He was the comedy of Poor Boy and the tragedy of Fly. He was the life From the Morning, the doom of Black Eyed Dog. He was the Voice From the Mountain and the cry of Pink Moon.
These are the words of FLY
Please give me a second grace Please give me a second face I've fallen far down The first time around Now I just sit on the ground in your way
Now if it's time to recompense for what's done Come, come sit down on the fence in the sun And the clouds will roll by And we'll never deny It's really too hard for to fly.
Please tell me your second name Please play me your second game I've fallen so far For the people you are I just need your star for a day.
So come, come ride in my my street-car by the bay For now I must know how fine you are in your way And the sea sure as I But she won't need to cry For it's really too hard for to fly.
WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF STUDIO GHIBLI. MY FAVOURITE IF I HAD TO PICK ONE WOULD BE ""GRAVE OF THE FIREFLIES." IT IS VERY SAD BUT AT THE SAME TIME FULL OF LOVE.

For centuries, the Taj Mahal has inspired
poets, painters and musicians to try and capture its elusive magic in word,
colour and song. It is one of the most flawless architectural creations of
the world. Since the 17th century, travellers have crossed continents to
come and see this ultimate memorial to love, and few have been unmoved by
its incomparable beauty.
Devghat
Devghat is a confluence of river Trishuli and river

"I have just turned on the news to see that the one and only Michael Jackson has died. Aged 50, so young, so sad, the world shall grieve together. His music will be with everyone for an awful long time. He may have departed this life but he will be welcomed where ever he goes, and so on Thursday 25th June 2009. The world lost another superstar before his life was fully spent, or maybe it was. I think he was a very lonely man, as was Elvis, but we shall remember their music forever, along with many more who have left the music world a little bluer."

This music comes from the wonderful voice of Loreena McKennitt, she is Canadian/Irish and has a voice like the angels of every denomination that lives. This video playlist accompanies the story/poem by ALFRED NOYES, it is called the HIGHWAYMAN and it is brilliant. She has a few friends with her, Enya, half the cast of Lord of the Rings, and of course Miss McKennitt and the LADY OF SHALLOTT, this time a poem sang by her and written by the pen of ALFRED LORD TENNYSON" another of Britains revered poets, Poet Laureate indeed.

The video at number 11, has no sound, it seems the maker didn't ask for permission to use it. sorry.
Have you been to see this film, have you got it on DVD, If you haven't get to the video shop and buy it straight away. Not quite this version though. The one you want in the Korean/Chinese mix. It is fabulous but like all good films, no downloads please. There is a short, sad film on the Korean playlist above and the guy who plays the photographer and gives his eyes away, is the star of the released Bichunmoo, strange really that we can't embed it, because it's quite a few years old now. Never mind. I guess by now, from my playlist that you can tell I rather love the Asian films. I do, but not any that are dubbed. Can't stand them, and they are usually crap ones anyway. I have a phenominal collection now, so if you want to know any good ones.
